Summer with Lowestoft Town Council brings together a packed programme of free events, activities, sports sessions and outdoor adventures taking place across the town throughout July and August.
Whether you’re looking to try a new sport, visit one of our fantastic parks, enjoy family time outdoors or simply discover something new on your doorstep, there’s something for everyone this summer.
Throughout the summer holidays we’re working with a range of partners to deliver a programme of free activities including:

This summer we’re encouraging residents to take part in the Big Butterfly Count.
It’s free, takes just 15 minutes and helps build a picture of butterfly populations across the UK.
Why not visit one of our parks, spend some time spotting butterflies and submit your sightings online?
Together, let’s fill the map with sightings from across Lowestoft and show the amazing wildlife that can be found in our town.
