As part of our commitment to promoting health and wellbeing in Lowestoft, we are delighted to have a variety of free-to-use outdoor gym equipment across our parks.
Near the play area in Fen Park is our assault course equipment. The equipment encourages upper body strength and creativity as you aim to complete the course. Fen Park also has a set of outdoor gym equipment, installed in 2026.
Found on the Whitton Estate, the high-quality gym equipment at Whitton Green offers a range of facilities. Users are able to download a free app which can record your progress on the different equipment and make changes to the equipment’s resistance.
Use of Gym Equipment
Use of the gym equipment is at the users own risk. Please ensure that you read the safety information for each site and warm up appropriately. Much of the equipment has instructions about proper use for the equipment which should also be read in advance.
