YMCA Trinity Group is a local based charity at the heart of the community, working with young people to develop their skills and futures. The YMCA Trinity Group is working towards a project, which is part of the YMCA Shine Youth Programme in Lowestoft, providing sessions for young people, advancing skills in cooking and gardening, and offering one-to-one and group support in local schools. With the use of the charity group’s allotment plots, which are located in central Lowestoft, these idyllic landscapes have provided a vital community space to enable engagement with young people in an outdoor setting.

Last year, the Town Council provided a Covid grant, which was used towards developing the newest allotment plot and enabled the group to continue to engage with young people over the summer holidays.
