Suffolk Highways is planning to carry out road repairs on A1117 Cotmer Road, Lowestoft from A146 to the roundabout with Colville Road. The works are due to take place between 8pm and 11pm on 12 August 2020. This will require a temporary road closure for the duration of the works to ensure that works are carried out safely. Traffic cones may also be placed to prevent on-street parking, so the work site is unobstructed.
For the duration of the road closure, traffic will be diverted via Colville Road, B1537, A1117, A146 and vice versa.
As roadworks are planned in advance, extra days are scheduled to allow for bad weather or other delays beyond Suffolk Highways' control. The on-site information signs should be updated if there will be any major changes to the work dates.
