A sizeable, sloping grassed area, Rosedale Park is traversed by two lit footpaths from the busy, main Elm Tree Road. The park is mainly a large open space with a fenced children’s playground in the centre, and goalposts for casual football.
The park provides a valuable green resource which serves the large housing estates in the centre of Elmtree Ward and is a popular site for dog walkers and families alike. A variety of trees were recently planted within the park to coincide with the Queen’s Green Canopy and to continue the Town Council’s commitment to encouraging nature and wildlife in our green spaces.
