Sat, Sep. 24, 2022 10:00am — 4:00pm
Location: Sparrow's Nest
Lowestoft Town Council welcome you to this Great Big Green event. Join us in Sparrows Nest Gardens on Saturday 24th September 2022 for this collaborative event with our partners from across our Town that want to champion the issues that we are all facing in regards to Climate and Sustainability.
We will have input from the Met Office, Waveney Beekeeepers, Suffolk Wildlife Trust, Get Suffolk Reading, Groundworks East, plant based and vegetarian food vendors and also performances by local groups/singers and so much more for everyone to enjoy! There will be a range of interactive stalls so that people can get "hands-on" with all that there is on offer, including making wind turbines and upcycled jewelery!
As part of the event, we are encouraging the use of public transport or arriving by foot or bike. Extra bike racks are being supplied especially for the event so that you can safely lock your bikes away as you enjoy the event.
Please join us in what should be a great green event!
