This free exhibition at the Lowestoft Parcel Office features the work of the Memories Carved in Stone project, which has sought to record, reclaim and maintain many forgotten graves and memorials of local service personnel lost during the conflict.

Ahead of Remembrance Sunday, the Town Council has supported an initiative to place a cross on every war grave in the Town. On Tuesday, the Mayor, Councillor Alice Taylor, joined veterans and volunteers to lay crosses on the graves at Lowestoft Cemetery.
