Lowestoft Town Council are proud to announce our programme of free events to celebrate HM The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
The wide range of events will take place on Thursday 2nd June at Sparrow's Nest.
The full programme is published below:
11:00am-3:45pm | Royal British Legion will host a family-fun event featuring:
4pm | Mayor's Welcome followed by Waveney Concert Band
6pm | Vibettes
7:45pm | East Coast Sinfonietta
9:15pm | Lighting of Britain's Most-Easterly Jubilee Beacon
Food and drink will be available to purchase in the park throughout the day.
Bring your chair, blanket & picnic, and flags to wave for this day of family fun and live music performances!
Parking:
We're delighted that East Suffolk Council are offering FREE parking at the following car parks on Thursday 2nd June between 10am-6pm:
*Please note that St Peters Street is a maximum stay of four hours and this rule will continue to apply, therefore, only drivers parking from 2pm may stay for free for the rest of the day (as payment and maximum stays don’t apply after 6pm). Those parking at 10am will need to move their car by 2pm.
