Lowestoft Town Council are proud to be supporting the marking of the Lowestoft Service of Remembrance as part of the Fishermen's Mission's very first National Fishing Remembrance Day.

The commemoration in Lowestoft will take place at 11am on Sunday 12th May at the end of the South Pier (by the 'Miraculous Catch' sculpture). The service will include prayers, readings and music to remember all the fishermen who have lost their lives at sea.

This service will be led by Mission Area officer Amanda Wisher from the Fishermen’s Mission and supported by Chaplain Julian Wong from Stella Maris.

All are welcome to attend this service which is one of many services being organised by the Fishermen's Mission, Stella Maris and The Seafarers' Charity nation-wide.

The service sheet is available to download here.
