Alongside the unveiling of the "Guava" Memorial Plaque by Lowestoft Town Council, the Jack Rose Old Lowestoft Society will be hosting three exhibitions about the 1953 North Sea Floods.

The exhibitions include:

  • Royal Flaxman 'Wall of Water' Photographic Exhibition presented by Lowestoft Museum
  • Memories of the Loss of the 'Guava' presented by the Port of Lowestoft Research Society
  • A Night to Remember presented by Jack Rose Old Lowestoft Society

 

Alongside the exhibitions, there will be a daily programme of activities (except on Tuesday 31st January)

11am - Opportunity to meet the exhibitors

12noon - Roadshow - Public discussion - sharing of memories

2pm - Screening of Slideshow/Video Film

 

The exhibit is free to attend with light refreshments available from the Cafe,
