I grew up (mainly) in Suffolk and moved to Kirkley in Lowestoft in 2016.
To raise a family, I’ve worked mostly as an actor in theatre and television.
My experience of public service, before becoming a town councillor in a February 2026 by-election, has been as a frontline prison officer in HMP Brixton, a probation service officer in Stockwell, a prison headquarters manager, and then in another Westminster-based Ministry of Justice role ranging across all His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service and Youth Justice functions, implementing the practical applications of the multidisciplinary science of human factors.
I got involved in that public service, and now this civic work, because I found being a perpetual critic of others unfulfilling.
I hope I can make a useful contribution to the life of my lovely home in Kirkley and Lowestoft.
