Grants for local organisations

Lowestoft Town Council awards grants to organisations that benefit the town. Applications are reviewed quarterly by the Finance and Governance Committee (March, June, September, December).

Urgent applications may be considered outside this schedule and we ask that these are clearly marked as such on the form.

Required Documents

Alongside the completed grant application form, we ask that all grant applications include:

• Your organisation’s Constitution
• Your organisation’s Business Plan (where applicable) and Financial Accounts
• Your organisation’s Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity and Whistleblowing policies
• Cost breakdown for your project

Reporting

Following the awarding of a grant, we ask that all recipients submit a report on the positive affect of our grant top their project within six months.
