Could you be a part of our Climate and Ecological Emergency Committee?
Are you someone who is passionate about the climate?
Do you have ideas for how the Town Council can meet and exceed its climate pledges?
Can you champion environmentally-friendly initiatives across Lowestoft?
If any of this interests you, our Climate and Ecological Emergency Committee would welcome your interest in being a non-councillor member of the committee!
Submissions of interest to join this committee should be submitted by Friday 29 August 2025. Your expressions of interest should include a couple of paragraphs on why you feel you want to be a part of this committee and what you would bring. Please send your submissions to us by emailing admin@lowestofttowncouncil.gov.uk.
Previous non-councillor members have help us with declaring Lowestoft an Earth Protector Town, championing plastic-free initiatives and the creation of environment-focused events.
