We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the volunteers and stakeholders who helped make this year’s Santa Dash such a success. While Lowestoft Town Council organised the event, it simply would not be possible without the incredible support of our volunteers, partners, and community organisations
Thank you to our volunteer marshals for keeping runners safe and cheering them on throughout the event.
A big thank you to Lowestoft Road Runners for providing fantastic volunteer support — a welcoming and inclusive club well worth checking out if you’re thinking of taking up running.
Huge thanks to Lowestoft Town Cricket Club for managing the refreshments, from hot drinks to mince pies — they did a brilliant job.
Thank you to Tesco Lowestoft Store for kindly donating all the mince pies — a great community gesture.
Thank you to Minors & Brady for sponsoring the event, covering post-race refreshments and advertising boards around town to help promote the Santa Dash.
We are extremely grateful to St John Ambulance for their outstanding support on the day. Their trained volunteers play a vital role in keeping participants safe and providing reassurance, and without their presence many community events like this simply wouldn’t be able to go ahead.
Thank you to Essex & Suffolk Water for providing the water for the event, helping us keep it almost completely plastic-free, and for their helpful staff.
Finally, thank you to Alan Walker for capturing the event with fantastic photography.
Thanks to everyone involved, we raised just over £1,000 for Lowestoft Foodbank, supporting the vital work they do in our community.
