Check out the new and improved Virtual Town Hall! - a newly, revamped self-guided digital tour of the Town Hall created by Hugh Davies, the Town Hall Project Team and local historians David Butcher and Ivan Bunn.

See places in the Town Hall that you can’t normally visit, ring the Town Hall bell, find out more about the history of the building. Over the coming months, it’ll be the go-to place to find out updates about the project, more rooms will be added and also be acting as a virtual heritage hub with changing exhibitions which tell the story of Lowestoft and link to the many museums and heritage organisations in the town.

This is just one of the pilot activities supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, produced by Hugh Davies as part of the Lowestoft Town Hall development project, supported by the Towns Fund, Architectural Heritage Fund, Historic England and East Suffolk Council.

We know people are also keen to visit the Town Hall 'for real' themselves and we're currently exploring dates to reschedule the cancelled Town Hall Heritage Open Day Events.
