Africa Alive Zoological Reserve

Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, formerly known as Suffolk Wildlife Park, is a zoo located in Kessingland, Suffolk. It is situated off the A12 at Kessingland 2 miles south of Lowestoft and just 30 minutes away from Great Yarmouth. Facilities available around the park include, wheelchair, stroller and mobility scooter hire, visitor lockers, baby changing and disabled toilets in a designated area of the park, and free public wi-fi to guests. 

Africa Alive has over 80 species to discover, from mammals, reptiles and invertebrates, birds, and domestic livestock. With experiences and opportunities available to book on the day of visiting the park and for pre-booking, including feeding a giraffe or a lion, a personal guided tour and an unforgettable experience out on the plains of Africa with a senior zoo keeper, and even an opportunity to get up close with heavyweight herbivores, rhinos.
